Dr Ulrike Sturm is the National Head of Postgraduate Studies at JMC Academy, a private higher education provider focusing on the creative industries. She has also taught at post-graduate level at CQUniversity and the University of Canberra (in partnership with TAFE Qld).
She has supervised masters and honours research projects across a wide range of creative disciplines including visual art, acting, game design, fashion design, animation, film and television, music and audio production.
Dr Sturm has particular interests in research methodologies for the creative industries, especially PLR, and also in LGBTQI+ research.
