About Me
I have examined Masters, DFA and PhD candidates in every State and Territory in Australia except WA and ACT. Internationally, I have examined in Singapore, Hong Kong and Scotland. I have had an ongoing interest in studio-based PhDs and PhDs by project since writing an essay on the topic for Artmonthly Australia in 1985 called "Is There a Doctor in the Art School". I have a wide-ranging interest in all areas of visual culture and production, and a specialist interest in "fictive art". My PhD topic was "Superfictions: new uses for fiction in contemporary art practice."
