About Me
I have previously examined Doctoral and Masters level theses.
My HDR supervision has included MFA and PhD Candidates; I have supervised 14 MFA and 8 PhD projects to completion. Projects I have supervised have focused on visual arts disciplines including Sculpture and Installation, Ceramics, Glass, Performance, Photography and Jewellery.
I have worked as External Examiner for several Australian Art Schools, and taught Bachelor of Fine Art Honours students for over 10 years. In 2009 I was awarded a Citation for Excellence in Learning and Teaching by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council for my contribution to Honours level teaching and curriculum design (jointly awarded with a teaching colleague). Honours projects I have supervised include visual art disciplines such as Sculpture and Installation, Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Ceramics, Jewellery, Glass and Textiles.
