I am a flexible and committed practitioner and cherish opportunities to engage deeply with creative practice projects through the examination process. I work and lecture across a broad area of media and research interests. In my practice, I work across painting and sound art in the form of installation, performance and composition. I am particularly interested in how different practices and media can frame each other, relate to each other, and rub up against each other. I have extensive artist-run experience, and was on the board of Liquid Architecture Inc from 2007-2021, West Space Inc from 2001-2004 and Grey Area Art Space from 1996-1999.
As the program manager of the MFA (Coursework) at RMIT University, I also have a specific interest in the often-overlooked Coursework Masters: I have taught in this program for over 15 years, and I successfully supervised over 60 students to completion.
I am based in Melbourne/Castlemaine, and will consider travel.
