About Me
I have had 6 Masters and 17 PhD and Doctor of Fine Art completions and a PhD public health student that I was on a panel for the University of Melbourne has also completed successfully. Two of my completed PhD students have won the Vice Chancellors Prize for Research Excellence – Higher Degrees by Research. I have worked as HDR Coordinator and Deputy Head, Research and Innovation so I am very experienced as a research leader and with all matters related to higher degrees research from supervision to coordination of the HDR experience including submissions, examinations and completions. I am also very experienced with PhDs that explore political, cultural and social questions (around the body, identity, urban planning, mental health, wellbeing, mobility, democracy, museums to name a few) in tandem with the investigation of material practices spanning installation, sound, video and media arts, photography, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking, visual and hybrid media art practices.
